These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wellphases mobile application (“App”) provided by Wellphases (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
What Wellphases Is
Wellphases is an AI-powered wellness companion designed to support women navigating perimenopause and menopause through natural conversation. The App helps you develop awareness of your body and track wellness patterns over time.
What Wellphases Is Not
Wellphases is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice. The App does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or prescriptions. Information provided by the AI assistant is for general wellness awareness only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Eligibility
Wellphases is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
Your Account
The App does not require account registration or login. Your data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any backups you create.
Subscriptions and Payments
Wellphases offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription with additional features. Subscription pricing and available plans are displayed within the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment: All payments are processed through the platform’s app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You will be charged through your app store account. Pricing is determined by the app store and may vary by region and currency.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Acceptable Use
You agree to use Wellphases only for its intended purpose as a personal wellness companion. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use the App to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or misleading content
- Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
- Share or redistribute AI-generated responses for commercial purposes
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding in Wellphases are owned by us or our licensors. AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use. The wellness information, knowledge cards, and educational content within the App are curated for general informational purposes and remain our intellectual property.
Privacy
Your privacy is fundamental to our design. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled. In summary: your health data stays on your device, and chat messages are transmitted to Anthropic solely to generate AI responses.
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Responses from the AI assistant are generated by a third-party AI model (Anthropic Claude) and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. You should not rely on AI responses as a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including medical, legal, or financial advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wellphases and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, or interruption of service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wellphases and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes all locally stored data.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
